I was lucky enough to win a ticket for a local event from Angela's blog. The ticket was for a fashion show at Peachy Keen in Cary. It's cute little boutique, and I'm glad to know a place like that exists close by! I convinced my blog bestie, Justyn, to go with me, and I'm certainly glad I had her as my partner in crime! It was great to finally meet Angela and Ashley (although I get to see them again for this awesome blogger meet-up they're busy organizing!). Justyn and Angela put together posts on the fashion show because they took pictures much better than mine.
As for the outfit I wore to the show, seriously it was under $30. I've had the shoes for a bit (only $15!) and I got the dress on super sale for $14! That's what I'm talking about! Plus, I just love tangerine. Somehow it just works for blondes...even with pale skin (and those damn white legs I'm rocking).
Ps. It's really difficult to do up-close outfit pictures by myself.
