Life Lately :: These days...

These days...I'm lacking time for blogging.

These days...I'm desperately missing running.

These days...I find it hard to sit down at the computer long enough to crank out something I'm proud of.

These days...I've lost a bit of focus and direction.

These days...I'm happy and enjoying being a part of the summer time.

These days...I won't make promises I can't keep.

These days...I've been eating terribly and not working out the way I should (nor can I the way I want to).

These days...I'll show you what I've been up to but make no guarentees to post again this week (which is not to say I won't!).

[I tried my first walk/run back after the injury at an awesome track right near my house. Sadly, my leg had weird pains for a week+ after.  I'm hoping to start back in another week, but this has really put a kink in my Esprit de She plans.]

[Baby birds in one of my hanging plants!  So glad I didn't accidentally drown them.]

[The week before I got my tattoo I was still working out and trying to do the 30 Day Squat Challenge. I think the squats were aggravating my leg, so I took last week off.]

[A glorious and perfect beach day with a friend was just what the doctor ordered!]

[Of course the first beach day of the year ended with a sunburn.  A loose sunburn outfit is a necessity in the summer.]

[I started a book club and we had our first "official" meeting last week to discuss Gone Girl.  This book is our next pick and I'm super excited!]

don't get discouraged with working out and eating healthy every day . everyone goes through ups and downs but you'll get back on track!

Ugh I also haven't been working out as much as I should have and eating terribly. I took a good, long look in the mirror last night and decided I didn't want to be like this anymore. Sadly, you can't eat like you're training for a marathon when you're not training for a marathon :(

<3 you, I hope you're feeling better girly.

Before I went on vacation I had lost direction as well. I was kind of focused on posting what I thought people would want to read versus what I wanted to share or talk about. And I bet the squats were aggravating your leg. My foot has still been feeling strange, and I'm going for a test run Saturday. I'm so so nervous. I look forward to hearing how that book is. I haven't actually heard of it but love the title and the cover design. (I guess I'm judging a book by its cover...)

I've definitely lost track on eating healthy and working out... eh. Some days I'm good, some days not so much. Don't fret, it's the summer. Relaxing is necessary.

Sorry to hear about the leg pains still, hope they go away soon! Glad you got to enjoy some beach time!

I've been wondering how you're feeling lately! I hope the pain subsides and you are back to it! Sending positive thoughts your way!

That is so wonderful that you started a book club! I've never read either of those books. Hope you heal soon. Love your blog.

I have been a terrible blogger lately! Finally posted today and am gonna attempt to get back into a rhythm.

What a bummer that your leg still hurts. I know that's hard for you.

I need to look that book up--I've never heard of it!

Just found you through the Passionfruite market place.
So glad I did.
Love the honesty and pictures here.
Thanks for sharing, and thanks for making me crave a chai tea latte :)
