currently.

Reading.  The Wicked Years series.

[via]

I had Wicked on my list after seeing the Broadway show back in April.  It was really different than the show, but I definitely enjoyed it.  I started on Son of a Witch but haven't heard near as many good things about the book.

Watching.  NBC must-see TV Thursdays.

[via]

Parks & Rec. The Office.  Up All Night.  30 Rock.  Ron Swanson.  Enough said.

Thinking.  Life is good.

I am happy with myself, my relationship, my job, my life.  I'm grateful for D and his willingness to help me and let me do things that make me happy.  I'm a lucky girl.

Eating/drinking.  Lots of eggs + pumpkin beers.

I literally eat a variation of this almost daily when I eat breakfast at home (gym days are smoothie days).  Then I supplement with egg salad over greens from Whole Foods for lunch.  I can't stop eggs.

Duh.  I have no problem with the pumpkin beer obsession.  Punkin is my fav, but Pumpkinfest is a close second!

Working.  On running.

While I'm suffering through rocking out the mileage, my pace has much to be desired.  It's a bit disheartening because usually I'm quicker outside.  I'm trying to transition to more outside runs; I think that's where the long run difficulty/slowness is coming from.  I need to get it together.

Wishing.  I lived closer to CPM, so I could see her and the new baby!

Obsessing.  A new camera.

I want this baby so badly.  That price tag is hefty though.  I've been trying to save some money, so I'm hoping that between my saved money and maybe holiday money I can purchase it.  I'm just dying to take quality pictures when we are traveling.

Hating.  A particular situation at work that is making every day difficult.

Loving.  Our booked Mexican vacation!

We booked out all-inclusive in Riviera Maya (or Puerto Morelos to be exact) for December!  Last year we went to the Bahamas, and we're making a tradition of a Christmas-time vacation alone.  I'm so excited to have a trip to look forward to!

i was just talking to my cousin (he's studying buddhism) and he said that the buddhists say that if you try and seek happiness elsewhere (ie. through superficial or physical means), you will never find it because that happiness is within yourself. he said it way more eloquently than i just did but it was some deep shit, let me tell you.

and heart eggs too. the more eggs the better!

I looove the idea of a warm getaway in December. My hub and I are tossing around the idea too! Maybe leave the day after Christmas and come home New Years Day... Just something fun and a relaxing way to end the year! Sounds like your trip will be awesome!

We've started Watching Revolution. That first one was really good. I like what you're thinking. I'm thinking that 95% of the time, and the other 5% I remind myself of why I should be thinking that way. I need a pumpkin beer. I bought wine at the store today...so that'll have to be fully consumed first. Yay for your 8 miler!! And I hope the situation at work works itself out soon.

Christmas in Mexico sounds like a dream! Since I live so far from home, I always go to Georgia at Christmas, and while it's nice to see family . . . lying on a beach in Mexico? Can't imagine much better. Did you use a particular website to find all inclusives? I'm curious!

Dogfish Head is Matt's absolute favorite. Most of the ones he drinks are too intense for me (Midas Touch, the various IPAs, etc., but I reeeeeally wanna try this punkin ale)!

Wish I loved eggs as much as you do . ..

Pumpkin beers FOR THE WIN.

I've been buying them like a slight alcoholic. Just a slight one. :)

I lovedWicked, the play, but haven't read the books!

Ahh I LOVE Ron Swanson! He is hilarious! Although I also think Tom is hysterical. :)

What resort are you staying at in Mexico? I hope it's an adults-only :)

I spent Christmas away (2008 in Varadero, 2009 in Punta Cana and 2011 in NYC) and I enjoy being away from all the hustle and bustle. This year, we are going to Punta Cana for a wedding from the 16-23 of December. We should have extended it so we would be there for Christmas.

Um GEEZ! Talk about a loaded post! Pumpkin beers? I'm on board. Mexico??? Don't be surprised if you find me stowing away in your luggage. I swear it won't be creepy. 30 Rock? I honestly believe Tina Fey is the funniest person on this planet. You are a beast with the running! And that camera? Definitely get it. It will totally be worth the money, I love mine!
